Pediatric Rehabilitation

Geriatric Rehabilitation
Geriatric Rehabilitation The New Hope Rehabilitation Centre offers physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy for Geriatric Population.
Geriatric Rehabilitation aims to:
- Prevent disability and reduce impairment through exercises, so that the older adult can perform his / her daily activities
- Help older adults maintain their independence in the community through the use of correct aids and appliances
- Help older adults and their caregivers identify community services that may be of assistance to them
- Physiotherapists help patients regain their strength and provide exercise routines for them to use at home. Occupational therapists help patients plan better ways to manage in their homes, for example setting up a kitchen to save steps, and exploring equipment needs such as walkers.
Sports Rehabilitation

Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation
Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation The physical and occupational therapy departments in New Hope Rehabilitation Centre offer comprehensive biomechanical assessments and individualized treatment programs for patients with a variety of musculoskeletal impairments. Some common disorders treated include osteoarthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, sprains and strains, pain related to myofascial impairments or postural syndromes, back or neck pain and herniated disc repairs. We also treat a variety of sports injuries, knee pain and patellofemoral syndromes, meniscal tears, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repairs or reconstruction, plantar fasciitis, joint replacements, post upper and lower extremity fractures and surgical repairs, and rotator cuff tears or repairs.

Pain Rehabilitation Program The New Hope Rehabilitation Outpatient Centers provide comprehensive Pain Rehabilitation treatment for acute, sub-acute and chronic pain, a service we also call Functional Pain Management.
The Network provides coordinated interdisciplinary pain rehabilitation emphasizing functional improvement and self-management of pain. Treatment integrates medical, physical and cognitive-behavioral approaches to pain management.
